First Parish Cemetery Association

The First Parish Cemetery was originally the property of First Parish Church of Norwell, and its earliest graves date from 1724.

In 1908, lot holders purchased the cemetery and the adjacent tomb yard from the church for $1. Since that time, the cemetery has been operated by a private, non-profit corporation called the First Parish Cemetery Association.
